Hi, please anyone, how to set the depth of the Z- Depth in Render Elements? I have just a poor white color as the result after rendering.

I have founded out, that it works with the EXR format. Am I right or is is possible to get it also with the PNG format ?

Yes, you can output the Z-depth element in a PNG file, just select "Separate files" in the render dialog. If you're asking about setting a specific maximum depth value that corresponds to white, this is not supported. The maximum depth is automatically calculated from the size of the scene.

Ah, yes, PNG and other 8-bit formats have sRGB encoding by default, while EXR is 16-bit and linear.
